Why Morton Grove, some might wonder? Admittedly, Morton Grove may not be the hub of the Chicagoland legal community, but there are advantages to being outside of the Loop.
One of the biggest, for my clients, is the ability to avoid going downtown. Those of us in Chicagoland know downtown parking is terribly expensive and traffic is horrendous, which makes traveling downtown for a meeting or deposition a potential nightmare for those living in the north and northwest suburbs.
Morton Grove is also easy to access from Chicagoland Expressways; a bit more than a half-hour to the Daley Center and Northern District Courthouse, as well as the Lake County Courthouse.
Modern technology and the rise of electronic filing allows lawyers more mobility than in years past.
