A recent article in the CBA Record’s Earth Day special issue (K. Smith. Joe the Lawyer Goes Green. 23-APR CBA Rec. 46) details some of the ways attorneys can reduce their environmental impact by adopting “green” procedures.
I was pleased to see that my office already incorporates some of Ms. Smith’s points, particularly her first suggestion, being paperless. Not only does the paperless office lead to greater efficiency, organization, and saves money (for both client and attorney), but it helps save the Earth too!
My office further incorporates recycling and vigorously combats inefficiencies. It’s nice to be able to incorporate green practices into my business; not just on this Earth Day, but everyday.
