I heard a great piece this morning on Chicago Public radio regarding homeowner problems with split-face concrete block, a favorite of many Chicago contractors.
I've handled cases involving split-face concrete block and I know from my client's experience the nightmare a leaky, mold-infested home can be. Unfortunately, many of the contractors responsible are judgment-proof, thus making holding the culprit responsible difficult, if not impossible.
